Woke up this morning to the fine town of Bemidji MN. We boondocked (slept in the RV for free with no water/elec/sewer... you know what? Last time I'm telling you.) at the fine chain of Wal-Mart stores. Let's face it, 100% of people reading this have shopped or do shop at Wal-Mart. All jokes aside it's a great one stop shop store that has everything you want at a low low price. However, there are some down sides. This particular place felt like it was filled with people from the bottom of the gene pool.
And now for your entertainment here is the largest buffalo in the world. A 60 ton behemoth made from solid concrete complete with reproductive organs.
After leaving Jamestown ND, we continued west to Sweet Briar Lake about 30 miles west of Bismarck. This place is friggin awesome. We are allowed to park and camp for up to 14 days for free. No hookups though... this is boondocking at its finest.
Tomorrow we pack up and head further west. Now some of you may be thinking, " These people don't have jobs and are traveling across the country at break neck speed. Who do they think they are?" Well to answer that conundrum let me explain something to you. We grew up in Wisconsin and Minnesota looks real damn close. North Dakota is nothing but telephone poles and farm fields. We'll be slowing down soon enough, so long as there is something worth slowing down for.
