Day 207 Another day, another move. Penny and Shirley get packed up to roll north another hour up the coastline. The weather is the only thing holding us back from putting some miles behind us. It's nice at the moment but will change at any moment once we start getting close to the Smoky Mountains. For now that means a full week will be spent at McIntosh RV park in Eulonia GA. It's a small park with small spaces. The trade off is of course that it comes with a small price tag. A week here for full hookups, on site laundry, cable and wi-fi will pull $211 out of our bank account. Another chance for us to catch up on some cleaning and plan a few more travel days to get us through the east coast. It's next to a noisy state highway and has a lovely little pond to gaze out at. We get settled in and decide to check out the local surroundings. Looking at the map does not show very much. T-Dub gets unloaded and we saddle up for a ride. Take us on an adventure my steel stallion. We head east and hit multiple dead end roads. The neighborhoods are mostly run down trailers and sandy side roads. A paved road with a boat sign leads us to this gigantic marsh with a river running through it. Now all of those dead end roads and empty map space make sense. You can't build anything out here. Sometimes you just don't know unless you see it, and seeing it always gives us a new perspective. This is why we travel.
